Antarctica is a photographic series made during a voyage on a sailing ship built in 1911—echoing the era of the last great expeditions.
Fascinated by early explorers and the photographers who documented the unknown, I traveled under the same slow rhythm: waiting, watching, searching for stillness. I chose color deliberately—letting the greys of the landscape carry the blue of the ice.
The work avoids modern markers as much as possible and focuses on silence, harmony and tragedy in the landscape: the beauty of emptiness and cold.
