1 Overview
Welcome to René Maria Koster Photography (“we”, “us”, “our”). This website and store (the “Services”) are operated by René Maria Koster Photography using Shopify.
By visiting, browsing, or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy and Returns Policy (available via the links in our footer/navigation). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2 Eligibility & account information
You confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, and that any information you provide (including email, billing, shipping and payment details) is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (if applicable).
3 Products & image representation
We aim to display our products as accurately as possible. Please note that colors and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device settings, and ambient light. Because prints are physical objects, slight variations in tone, paper texture and finish may occur.
4 Orders & acceptance
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders at our discretion (for example, suspected fraud, address issues, or payment problems). An order is considered accepted when you receive an order confirmation and payment is successfully processed.
5 Made-to-order production & cancellations
Our prints are made to order (print-on-demand). Once production has started, cancellations or changes (including size changes) may no longer be possible. If you need to correct an order, contact us immediately at info@renekosterphotography.nl and we will do our best to help.
6 Pricing, taxes & billing
Prices are shown in the store at the time of purchase. Prices may change without notice. Shipping costs, taxes, duties and import fees (if applicable) are shown at checkout or may be charged by local authorities upon delivery, depending on the destination.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and payment information.
7 Shipping & delivery
Delivery times shown in the store are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, weather events, or circumstances outside our control.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
8 Returns, damage & incorrect items
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. In summary: because items are made to order, we generally do not accept returns for change-of-mind or incorrect size selection. We do, of course, resolve issues such as damage, defects, or incorrect items.
9 Intellectual property
All content on this website—including photographs, text, images, graphics, and design—is owned by René Maria Koster Photography and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or exploit any content without our prior written consent.

Our Services may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies or practices. Visiting third-party websites is at your own risk.
11 Relationship with Shopify
René Maria Koster Photography uses Shopify to power this store and provide the Services. However, all sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with René Maria Koster Photography. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and René Maria Koster Photography, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products or services. You expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with René Maria Koster Photography.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless René Maria Koster Photography from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
