About
I'm René Maria Koster, a Dutch photographer working between documentary storytelling and fine art. Travel, history and narrative are recurring themes in my work. I'm drawn to places where the pace of life changes—remote coastlines, polar seas, quiet weather—where the landscape becomes a stage for memory, longing and resilience.
In the field, I work patiently and with restraint, searching for stillness and the moment where harmony and unease meet. In editing, I aim for images that hold time: subtle color, deep tonal range, and an atmosphere that stays with you.
This shop brings together curated expedition collections as museum-quality fine art prints—crafted to be lived with, collected, and revisited.
